About HuntPDF

HuntPDF is a collection of 64 free tools for working with PDFs, images and documents — merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, OCR, and a set of AI tools that summarise, translate and answer questions about your files. Everything runs in your browser with no account to create, no watermark on the result, and no daily limit for normal use.

Our mission

Most people don't want to install software or hand over an email address just to rename a PDF or shrink an image. Yet the everyday tools for doing that are often buried behind sign-up walls, watermarks, aggressive upsells and unclear promises about what happens to the files you upload. HuntPDF exists to be the opposite: a fast, honest, no-nonsense place to get the job done and get on with your day. If a tool can be free and private, it should be.

Who's behind it

HuntPDF is an independent project, not a venture-backed company. It started with a simple frustration: needing to do a quick PDF task and running into paywalls, watermarks and confusing privacy terms at every turn. Rather than accept that, we set out to build a single site where the common document tasks are genuinely free, work on any device, and treat your files with respect. It's built and maintained by a small team that uses these tools every day, and it grows one tool and one fix at a time based on what people actually need.

How we handle your files

Files you upload are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection, processed on our servers, and deleted automatically after processing — we don't keep them, share them, or use them to train anything. You can read the full detail in our Privacy Policy.
